Stan, it sure looks like you got it figured out and got it working great. And talk about HEAVY DUTY! That thing ain't going nowhere... Now you will open yourself up to making some very cool stuff on your indexer. Good Job.

looks like you followed the tutorial and made a good looking part. I guess thats a testament to the great instruction on his video. I think he was using his sexy announcer voice...lol

Thanks, Stan, for testing some of the files and creating the videos. I'll include links to them in the tutorial the next time I update it.

FYI, I'm going to split out the tutorial based on whether the indexer is parallel to the X or Y axis. Hopefully that will eliminate some confusion and the need for people to turn their monitor on its side.

"start a collection of leg turning profiles" Stan could you also include a brief section on the glue up process if one is 'making' their own blanks. Thanks. Russ

When it comes to blanks i just glue up one inch dressed wood with jorgenson pipe clamps and run it through the planer ,i did use a 4in jaw chuck and now i'm back to screwing a small face plate to say a 3x3 piece or use a 6 in face plate for bigger pieces ,I don't think there is a need to get to fancy as how the wood is held as the lathe rotates very slowly
